Morson Praxis was proud to support Samuel Airaud, who recently took part in the Bath Half Marathon to raise funds for the charity Brainwave.
Samuel ran alongside colleagues and partners from across the industry, including EDF Energy Framatome and Bouygues, as part of a wider fundraising effort supporting this important cause
In the lead-up to the event, Samuel and colleagues also organised a fundraising stand, helping to raise awareness and collect donations.

Behind the Fundraising Effort
Samuel Airaud, Senior Engineer, shared:
“In 2024, colleagues from Morson Praxis invited Rozana Zyka and me to take part in a charity cycling ride in support of Brainwave. We raised around £5,500, cycling from Brussels to Amsterdam, starting in the rain and facing long stretches of headwinds through the Dutch polders.
“That experience introduced me to Brainwave. Based along my daily commute to Hinkley Point C, it’s a charity deeply rooted in the local community, making a real difference to the lives of children with disabilities. It felt important for Thomas Masseran, Pierre Falco and me to support their work and get involved in the community we are now part of.
“In 2026, taking on the Bath Half Marathon was another great challenge. We prepared together, with Pierre showing incredible determination by completing the run despite an injury.
“Both the running and fundraising challenges have been about stepping out of our comfort zone and pushing our limits.”
Supporting Brainwave
Brainwave is a charity based near our Hinkley Point C team in Bridgwater, providing support for children with disabilities and additional needs both locally and across the UK.
The organisation helps children achieve greater independence and reach their full potential through bespoke, multi-disciplinary therapy programmes. These programmes include physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, sensory integration, and learning and development support, tailored to each child’s individual needs.
Morson has proudly supported Brainwave on several occasions, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to supporting meaningful causes within the communities where we work.
Supporting the Cause
Fundraising for Brainwave continues to make a meaningful difference, helping the charity deliver life-changing support to children and families.
