Modernising Food Production Facilities

The New York Bakery Co. required the refurbishment of its existing factory to improve staff welfare facilities, enhance operational flow, and support the ongoing efficiency of its food production environment.

Morson Praxis was appointed to deliver architecture and civil and structural engineering services, developing practical design solutions that improved both the functionality of the facility and the experience of its workforce.

Project Overview

Refurbishing a Live Food Manufacturing Facility

The refurbishment included the creation of a new ground floor entrance, upgraded male and female changing facilities, WC and shower areas, and a dedicated production transition space incorporating boot change and hygiene facilities. A new second-floor staff rest room was also introduced to enhance employee welfare.

Morson Praxis prepared the architectural design drawings, including floor plans and reflected ceiling plans, together with the design and specification for a new mezzanine level.
