Government Commercial Agency (GCA) is the UK’s central commercial and procurement organisation, connecting public and private sectors to achieve the best outcomes for the UK and its citizens. GCA uses its commercial expertise to create a simpler procurement experience that redirects valuable resources into essential public services – creating value for the nation. Two Morson Group companies, Morson Praxis and Morson Edge, have been named as suppliers on GCA’s RM1557.15 G-Cloud 15 Framework, which allows public sector organisations to procure cloud services via the government’s Contract Award Service.
Morson Praxis, the digital and technology consultancy arm of the business, has expanded its capability for this 15th iteration of the G-Cloud Framework. We will now provide 97 live services across three G-Cloud Lots:
- Lot 2a (Infrastructure Software as a Service, iSaaS) where Framework Buyers can access our ‘Systems Infrastructure Software’ and ‘Application Development and Deployment’ Services.
- Lot 2b (Software as a Service, SaaS) where Framework Buyers can access our ‘Application Development and Deployment’, and ‘Applications’ Services.
- Lot 3 (Cloud Support Services) where Framework Buyers can access our services that support the set up and maintenance of cloud software or hosting.
This achievement is testament to our business’s growth, investment and passion for supporting the Public Sector, alongside the ongoing development and expansion of our consulting services.
Morson Praxis’s Digital & Technology Divisional Director, Linton Ward, shared:
“We are delighted to continue as a supplier on the government’s G-Cloud Framework through its latest iteration, G-Cloud 15. Our appointment to two additional Lots expands the range of cloud services we can provide to public sector organisations, reflecting the ongoing growth of our digital and technology capabilities. Our teams will continue helping framework buyers maximise the value of their digital investments – whether delivering major transformation programmes or targeted pieces of specialist work – working collaboratively to accelerate delivery, reduce risk and realise benefits sooner.”
Andy Wadsworth, Director at Morson Edge, another of the Morson Group businesses that secured accredited supplier status on the G-Cloud 15 Framework, commented:
“Our appointment to G-Cloud 15 provides public-sector organisations with a straightforward route to access our Cloud support services – which can be commissioned as focused readiness assessments, phased deployments or end-to-end transformation programmes. By combining strategic guidance with specialist delivery capability, we will continue enabling framework buyers to translate ambition into measurable, sustainable outcomes.”
Ged Mason, Executive Chairman of the Morson Group, said:
“We are proud to see both Morson Praxis and Morson Edge continue their presence on G-Cloud through its latest iteration, with an expanded range of services available to public sector customers. The addition of new Lots reflects the continued development of our digital and cloud capabilities and the expertise of our people. Together, both businesses bring complementary strengths that will help public sector organisations accelerate transformation, deliver with confidence and realise greater value from their technology investments.”
