Enhancing Asset Management Through BIM Integration
Cavendish Nuclear appointed Morson Praxis to support the implementation of BIM-enhanced engineering solutions that would improve coordination, efficiency, and asset management across the lifecycle of a Silos Maintenance Facility at Sellafield.
The project also required specialist BIM expertise to contribute to a strategic paper for Sellafield and to develop the client’s long-term capability in managing digital asset information.

Improving Collaboration Through Digital Engineering
Morson Praxis provided expert BIM consultancy, contributing to a strategic focus group established to support BIM adoption across the Sellafield site. Working alongside project stakeholders, our consultants helped shape a strategic approach to digital engineering for one of the UK’s largest nuclear facilities.
Our team translated existing 2D project information into coordinated 3D models, enabling the identification and resolution of design coordination issues that were difficult to detect through traditional workflows. We also delivered BIM software training, equipping Cavendish Nuclear and Sellafield Ltd with the knowledge and capability to manage and maintain their own asset models.
