Morson Praxis is proud to announce that we have won both the Innovation Award and Infrastructure Project of the Year awards at the Constructing Excellence East Midlands Awards 2026.
The awards recognise our commitment to delivering innovative engineering and digital solutions that improve infrastructure performance through collaboration, technology and practical application.
Award-winning innovation through Panoptic Bridge Management
Both awards recognise the success of the Panoptic Bridge Management project, delivered in collaboration with Network Rail, Nottingham Trent University and Birmingham City University.
The project is transforming bridge inspections through advanced digital engineering technologies, including point cloud modelling, immersive virtual environments, machine learning and AI-supported defect identification. By enabling engineers to undertake virtual examinations remotely, the system improves safety, reduces disruption to rail services and supports smarter, data-driven long-term asset management.
This collaborative approach between industry and academia has enabled the development of pioneering digital inspection solutions that support Network Rail’s wider ambitions for infrastructure digitisation and asset intelligence.
