Morson Praxis (Morson Projects Srl) is expanding its international training offering with the launch of a new specialist programme for the maritime sector.
In collaboration with College of Remote & Offshore Medicine and European University Cyprus, Morson Praxis is proud to introduce the first International Maritime Ship’s Doctor Course (IMSD).
The course is scheduled to take place from 11th–15th May in Malta, subject to sufficient enrolment.

Supporting Growth in the Maritime Sector
As part of its strategy to diversify services, Morson Praxis is developing specialist training solutions for cruise ship operators and maritime organisations. The IMSD programme represents a significant step in supporting this sector with highly skilled medical professionals.
This internationally focused course is designed to equip physicians with the clinical, operational and maritime expertise required to deliver safe, autonomous medical care onboard cruise vessels.
Course Overview
The five-day programme combines accredited certifications with specialist maritime training, including:
- ITLS (International Trauma Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Cruise ship medicine and maritime public health
- Remote clinical decision-making
- Resource-limited onboard care
- Medico-legal considerations at sea
Participants will receive CoROM IMSD certification along with internationally recognised AHA and ITLS qualifications.
