Supporting the School’s Long-Term Development
The project formed part of the school’s wider infrastructure development programme, delivering modern sports and wellbeing facilities for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Stamford Endowed School required a purpose-built sports facility to enhance its existing campus and support its long-term development strategy. The new building needed to provide high-quality sporting, teaching, and wellbeing spaces while integrating seamlessly with the wider school estate.
Project Overview
Delivering a Modern Sports and Wellbeing Facility
The development comprises a 25-metre, six-lane swimming pool with dedicated spectator seating, alongside a gymnasium fitness suite, changing facilities, office accommodation, teaching rooms, and a medical centre.
The new facility has been designed to provide a flexible, high-quality environment that supports both sporting excellence and everyday educational activities.

Our Solution
Civil and Structural Engineering Design
Morson Praxis provided the Civil and Structural Engineering design for the project, delivering a coordinated solution to support the construction of the new facility.
Our scope included the design and detailing of the structural frame, superstructure steelwork, masonry and timber elements, together with external works, foul and surface water drainage, and a reinforced concrete retaining wall. Working closely with the wider design team, we delivered an integrated engineering solution to support the successful development of the new sports complex.
