Developing a Modern Vehicle Import Facility
Associated British Ports (ABP), a long-standing client of Morson Praxis, required concept designs for a new vehicle import compound on a 60-acre site to support a bid for a prospective customer.
The development needed to incorporate transporter routes, load lanes, and a pre-delivery inspection (PDI) facility while maximising storage capacity, improving operational efficiency, and providing a clear vision of the proposed site to support future investment.

Creating a Concept Design to Support Client Investment
Morson Praxis developed concept plans for the proposed compound, creating an efficient site layout that optimised vehicle and personnel movements while maximising storage capacity across the available land.
Alongside the concept design, our team produced outline engineering designs, budget estimates, and a delivery programme to support ABP’s proposal. We also created an interactive 3D model that could be explored in virtual reality, enabling stakeholders to experience the proposed development and gain a comprehensive understanding of the site before construction.
