Our Bridgwater office sits at the heart of the UK’s nuclear landscape – and that’s no coincidence. With The Exchange as our base, we’re perfectly positioned to bridge the gap between traditional engineering excellence and cutting-edge digital solutions.

This isn’t just another regional outpost. Our Bridgwater team represents the full spectrum of Morson Praxis capabilities: from nuclear engineering that’s been battle-tested over three decades, to BIM consultancy that’s helping reshape how the industry thinks about information management. When you need engineering that actually works in the real world, this is where those solutions take shape.

Where Nuclear Expertise Meets Digital Innovation

Put simply, if it's nuclear and it needs engineering support, we've probably done it before.

With more than 30 years’ experience in the UK’s nuclear industry, we’ve built an extensive footprint and a reputation that speaks for itself. Our track record in delivering technical, engineering and management support services to the UK nuclear decommissioning sector isn’t just impressive on paper – it’s proven where it matters most: on-site, on-time, and on-budget.

We cover all aspects of the asset lifecycle, supporting everything from life extension and defueling to outages, interventions, new build, and decommissioning activities.

Our BIM consultancy services aren’t about jumping on the latest tech bandwagon – they’re about giving our clients genuine competitive advantages. We provide BIM implementation expertise that increases operational efficiencies and transforms how project information gets managed. This ensures the most effective digital design approach gets deployed throughout every project.

Since the Government BIM mandate in April 2016, we’ve been ahead of the curve, gaining BRE BIM Level 2 Business Systems Certification in 2017 and BRE ISO 19650-2:2018 Certification in 2021 – among the first to achieve UKAS accredited certification.

Our management team brings real-world experience – they’ve designed Civil and Structural Engineering works and been directly involved in construction project delivery at both supervisory and operational levels. That means when we design something, we know it’ll actually work when the diggers arrive.

Our Team

We've got over 40 people operating across the South West, spanning our Bridgwater and Bristol operations.

This team has a proven track record in delivering site-specific, viable and cost-effective design solutions that actually get built.

The standout example? Our support for EDF Energy’s Hinkley Point C Nuclear New Build programme, where our team worked on-site for almost 10 years as Framework Engineers. We’re currently delivering engineering support for site enabling works, managing and coordinating works packages, implementing BIM solutions, and acting as Intelligent Customer in managing engineering and construction issues during the Main Civils phase.
