Vertical Aerospace is the UK’s only manufacturer of an electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft, VX4 which successfully completed its first tethered hover in 2022. The company’s ambition is to redefine urban air mobility by creating sustainable, efficient air transport solutions for the future.

Project Overview

Engineering Innovation for Next-Generation Flight

The VX4 represents a major step forward in aviation innovation. Designed to carry a pilot and up to four passengers, the aircraft is expected to achieve speeds of up to 200 miles per hour and travel distances of 100 miles, all while producing minimal noise and zero operating emissions. Once certified, it will open the door to a new era of cleaner, faster, and more accessible air travel.
